Responsible for the design finalisation and delivery of all temporary infrastructure for UEFA EURO 2028 hospitality operations, including hospitality villages, indoor overlay and secondary distribution systems. The role leads infrastructure delivery through design finalisation, procurement support, build coordination, permitting, certification and handover. Key Accountabilities
- Finalise technical design requirements for temporary infrastructure, overlay, hospitality villages, indoor adaptations, and secondary distribution systems.
- Project manage infrastructure delivery during the build phase, ensuring alignment with programme timelines, technical requirements, and operational needs.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and technical suppliers during the design, planning, and procurement phases, and with venue operators, host venue stakeholders, authorities, and operational teams throughout readiness and delivery activities.
- Oversee utilities requirements, including power, water, HVAC, drainage, fire safety, and secondary distribution solutions.
- Lead infrastructure planning and delivery for hospitality villages and associated temporary structures.
- Analyse project documentation for compliance with hospitality requirements and identify required infrastructure upgrades or adaptations.
- Prepare, review, and manage technical documentation, drawings, specifications, trackers, and infrastructure delivery reports.
- Participate in stadium, site, supplier warehouse, and production facility inspections.
- Support procurement, tender, and supplier evaluation processes for infrastructure, overlay, and distribution services.
- Engage with the local market, conduct supplier due diligence, and support the selection of suitable delivery partners.
- Manage local build permitting requirements and fire & safety certification processes for villages and temporary infrastructure.
- Monitor issue logs, design development trackers, and technical documentation progress.
- Ensure infrastructure delivery is completed safely, on time, within approved budgets, and in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.
- Support handover, operational readiness, maintenance coordination, construction oversight, quality control, issue resolution, and demobilisation planning for temporary infrastructure and stadium indoor technical elements.
General
- Working hours are Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the business, additional evening and weekend work may be required.
- Travel across venues, supplier locations, and project locations will be required in line with project needs.
- Ensure effective communication with the immediate line manager regarding priorities, movements, and key project activities.
- Diligently, timely, and efficiently carry out duties assigned by the project leader and immediate line manager.
- Provide full support to the Company in meeting project deadlines and business requirements.
- Manage queries and respond to information requests in a professional and timely manner.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Technical Science, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience in the planning and delivery of temporary infrastructure, overlay, and construction projects for major international events.
- Strong knowledge of utilities, temporary structures, site logistics, fire safety, permitting, and technical compliance requirements.
- Experience managing and coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and technical suppliers throughout design, procurement, and delivery phases.
- Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, construction documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Outstanding planning, time management, supplier management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve technical and operational issues during design, build, and delivery phases.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confident use of technical trackers, project documentation, and drawing management tools. Experience reviewing drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, or similar software.
- Fluent in English.
