This new role will support the Travel Services in implementing its goals & objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering ground transportation logistics and services within USA, Mexico and Canada. Playing a critical role in providing a superior guest experience, he/she will be responsible for moving significant quantities of people between cities and countries in a timely manner to ensure safety and on-time delivery. It is also envisioned that this role will encompass the operational delivery of specific airport transfers, excursions and tours where required. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of operational and strategic expertise, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The position will be based in our corporate headquarters in Miami, Fl and report to the Director of Travel Services. The ideal candidate has a start-up, entrepreneurial mind-set, handles the unknown and thrives in a more ambiguous and fluid environment. High attention to detail, drives for efficiency and effectiveness, critical thinking and has strong and demonstrated problem solving skills. He/she will have deep experience in travel/tourism specifically in ground transportation of large groups of people.

Department overview
The Travel Services team has created a suite of travel products to be offered to customers either during their purchase of the Hospitality Package or at some time after. The travel products will include international flights into the host countries; domestic flights either provided by a scheduled airline or a series of charter flights organised by the Company; round transport options; attractions and tours.
Supervisory responsibilities
- Plan and identify human capital necessary to meet the demands and meet the objectives and goals of the department. Will develop an org chart and be in charge of their budget.
- Oversee, lead, manage and motivate a team of travel and ground transportation specialists, internal and 3rd party.
- Interview, hire and manage a team across the USA, Mexico and Canada.
Duties & responsibilities
- Planning, developing and implementing strategies for the ground transportation services and products to enhance the guest experience, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure proper service level agreements with 3rd party vendors covering all the pre boarding and disembarking Ground services throughout throughout USA, Mexico and Canada.
- Assist in the selection, contracting and establishment of 3rd party ground transport suppliers for the provision of the required services.
- Ensure that all reasonable and appropriate safety processes and provisions are either met or surpassed by our own and the 3rd party activities through proper Services Level Agreements and approved policies.
- Direct the management of the fleet from the various 3rd party vehicle inventories required by Agents and Customer bookings.
- Drive continuous process, interface, systems and procedural improvement to attain highest levels of efficiency and customer service,
- Oversee and assist where necessary with the delivery of service quality throughout USA, Mexico and Canada.
- Establishes and follows operational project plans.
- Lead/support the respective project teams during preparation, on-site operation and reconciliation phases of each project.
- Administer contracts with particular attention to contract milestones and deadlines.
- Support department and other colleagues.
- Utilizing a high level of judgement, reviews and approves logistics quotes.
- Analyse customer feedback and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance of Ground services (if any).
Qualification/ experience
- Bachelors Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field, Master’s Degree preferred.
- Experience (5+ years) in logistics/ops management at a senior level.
- Strong Travel /Ground transportation experience.
- Awareness of sustainability best practices and how to implement them in such an event.

- Proficient in MS Office (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of guests, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical requirements
- Office setting but also will be visiting vendors.
- 20-30% travel (and more travel early on).
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access various departments at a given location.
